Natural materials such as cotton, wool, flax and Swedish wood have been combined with Hästens’ new patented spring system to make Hästens Classic a wonderfully comfortable bed. Hästens Classic allows air to flow naturally, keeping you dry and at the right temperature. Hästens beds ensure that you awake refreshed. The high quality of Classic gives you pliability, softness and bottom springs. Hästens’ new unique patented spring system provides excellent softness while giving you outstanding deep support. The lower spring system features 7 cm high, firm springs made from heat-treated spring steel, resting on flax padding. The flax padding allows air and moisture to pass through, but not dust. The upper spring system comprises 13 cm high heat-treated, individually sprung springs (medium or firm). These are followed by three thick layers of cotton/wool. The bed also has reinforced corner springs and flax corner padding, all built up by hand by our team of skilled craftsmen.
